Additional Information: This hospital was located in a series of wooden barracks that had housed the Veterans' Reserve Corp. It was opened as a branch of the 3rd Division Hospital of Alexandria. On May 1, 1865, the Slough Barracks General Hospital became the Slough General Hospital. All of the remaining patients in 3rd Division hospitals were sent to Slough General Hospital at that time.
