Mrs. Frances B. Gibson of Virginia, having claim to the service or labor of the undersigned, and having refused or failed to file in your office the statement in writing or schedule provided for in the 9th section of the act entitled "an act for the release of certain persons held to service or labor in the District of Columbia" approved 16th April 1862. You will please file the annexed schedule in pursuance of an act approved 12th July 1862. This petitioner has resided in said District more than one year last past and still resides therein by the consent of [Frances B.?] Gibson aforesaid.

Dr Maynard I employed Jesse Chinn once a year & paid wages to himself.
Alfred Kergin. have known servant 15 years. he belonged to Col. Gibson near [Powhich?] where I staid all summer near Col Gibsons house He is now Col Gibson's widows. I have seen him about Washington last 18th months.
