The Estate of the late Teresa Burgess of Maryland having claim to the service or labor of the undersigned, and having refused or failed to file in your office the statement in writing or Schedule provided for in the 9th section of the act entitled "An Act for the release of certain persons held to service or labor in the District of Columbia" approved 16th April 1862—

The Commissioners, satisfied on the testimony of John F Callan, of the truth of the within statement, order the same to be so reported to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia.
John F. Callan I know all facts in schedule to be true. Servant has been here for a number of years I was agent for Mrs Teresa Burgess about woman. Mrs Burgess died about 2 years ago. None of the family has taken out bills. I applied to family to file petition but they declined as woman was old and might [illegible]
