CASE 144.—Private Consider Cole, Co. B, 32d Me.; age 45; admitted Feb. 10, 1865, much debilitated; cough; dyspnœa; dulness​ over both lungs. April 2: Dyspnœa urgent; extremities cold; face livid; crepitant râles distinct on both sides. 7th: Died. Post-mortem examination: Miliary tubercle in upper lobes of both lungs; lower lobes congested; pleuræ firmly adherent.
