Mrs. Post's bawdy house was visited by police and the residents taken to the Central guard-house. "This house has long been the occassion of great annoyance to those living in the neighborhood, and Superintendent Webb becoming aware of this fact, determined to break it up." The house was on the west side of Tenth Street, north of Pennsylvania Ave.
