Place information: Epiphany General Hospital was comprised of two distinct buildings, Epiphany Church and Baptist Church. The Epiphany Church building closed as a hospital on December 5, 1862. The hospital continued to operate from the Baptist Church building as Epiphany Church General Hospital until it closed, sending its patients to the Columbia College and Patent Office hospitals.
