Additional Information: Fort Corcoran was located a short distance southwest of the Virginia Aqueduct Bridge, near Fort Haggerty. The Fort Corcoran hospital building was a wooden structure near the fort; it was also used to treat the sick of Forts Burnett, Cass, Haggerty, and Woodbury.
