Additional Information: From August, 1861, to Sept. 20, 1862, this hospital was a branch of the General Hospital (Mansion St). Upon the reorganization of hospitals in Alexandria, it became a branch of the 1st Division General Hospital (Alexandria). It was located in a 3 story brick building near the Mansion House; the building formerly housed a female seminary.
