Relationship information: Beun suffered a shot wound to the thigh and admitted to Campbell Hospital, where he was treated for injury and ultimately died.

Relationship information: William Holmes of Co. D, 18th Massachusetts was wounded in the leg at Fredericksburg on December 13, 1862. Two weeks after his injury, he was admitted to Campbell General Hospital in Washington, DC. Six months later Holmes was transported to Mower Hospital in Philadelphia where his leg was amputated on July 22, 1863. Holmes never returned to service and was discharged due to injury in April 1864.

Relationship information: Risher was wounded in the head on 12 July 1864 while defending Washington. He was initially treated in the field and subsequently admitted to Campbell Hospital in a comatose condition.

Relationship information: Young was admitted to Campbell General Hospital four days after being wounded at Fredericksburg. He was subsequently transferred to Baltimore.
