                                                type="person" key="728">Private Benjamin
                                                McCoy</name>, <name type="organization" key="439">Co. H, 46th Pa.</name>, was admitted <date
                                                type="admit" when="1863-09-16">Sept. 16,
                                        1863</date>, in low condition and cyanotic. Next day he
                                        became delirious, and soon afterwards ecchymoses appeared on
                                        the chest and abdomen.  He died on <date type="death"
                                                when="1863-09-22">the 22d</date>.  <hi rend="italic">Post-mortem</hi> examination: Heart sound;
                                        parenchymatous organs healthy; a portion of the ileum
                                                ulcerated.&#8212;<hi rend="italic"><name
