                                                                aged 32 years.  <name type="BATTLE" key="4">Fredericksburg</name>, <date type="injury" when="1862-12-13">December 13th,
                                                                                1862</date>.  Fracture of occipital by conoidal ball.  
                                                                <name type="hospital" key="189">Third division hospital</name>, <name type="place">Alexandria</name>.  Removal of
                                                                several fragments.  Died <date type="death" when="1863-01-13">January 13th, 1863</date>.  
                                                  Autopsy revealed two ounces of grayish pus between
                                                  dura mater and cerebellum.</p>
