you will please file & record in your office the annexed statement or schedule under the provisions of an act of Congress in relation to persons held to service or labor in the District of Columbia Approved April 16 1862 & an act amendatory thereto Approved July 12, 1862

Ariana Jackson aged 27, dark Copper Color held to service by Samuel Synde of said District That she has resided here in said district about [8?] years last past & still resides here by the consent of her said master.

That the said [Synde?] has neglected to file his schedule as provided in said acts & she files her petition in lieu thereof
